Insurance Agencies Ltd. was started by second-generation Japanese-Canadian,
Alfred Kamitakahara in 1959. The first office was located in the heart
of Vancouver’s Chinatown until the early 1970s, then relocated
to various locations in the downtown core.
Since 1992 we have been located in the West Broadway corridor.
We are an “independent insurance broker", meaning we represent
you, the consumer, and choose among several insurance companies to
provide you with the proper coverage at a competitive price. We have
access to over 20 insurance companies such as AXA Pacific, AVIVA Insurance,
Canadian Northern Shield, Travel Insurance Coordinators and including
major Japanese carriers such as Tokio Marine, Mitsui- Sumitomo, Nippon
KOA, Sompo Japan. |
